When Tyler Childers revealed his new album Snipe Hunter last month, he accompanied the announcement with the song “Nose On The Grindstone,” which fans were already familiar with from his live shows over the years. Today (July 2), he has released another track from Snipe Hunter, and the situation is quite similar.

However, there is a slight difference: While “Nose On The Grindstone” was a popular choice during live performances (and a version of it ranks among his most-streamed tracks on Spotify), “Oneida” has been less frequently performed. He showcased it in 2016, and according to setlist.fm, he has only played it live a few times since then.

Nonetheless, it’s a song that fans have been looking forward to. When Childers announced its release on Instagram last week, comments included, “9 years 2 kids 1 husband have happened while waiting for this damn song,” and, “This album is for the OGs. Just feel it.”

You can listen to “Oneida” above. Childers also revealed the tracklist for Snipe Hunter, which you can find below.
