The Chandler, Arizona Police Department confirmed to Us Weekly on Sunday, May 18, that Trigg passed away at the tender age of 3. Just days prior, Trigg was found unconscious in the family’s backyard pool.
“The investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident remains ongoing. This is still an open investigation,” the department stated in a message to Us. “Out of respect for the family’s privacy, we will not be releasing additional details until the investigation is concluded.”
Us confirmed on June 2 that the investigation was officially closed.

When Did the Incident Happen?
Trigg was discovered unconscious in the family’s backyard pool on the evening of May 12. Two days later, the Chandler Fire Department informed local Arizona news outlet 12 News that a 3-year-old boy — later confirmed to be Trigg — was in critical condition. Police officers reportedly arrived at the scene and began administering CPR before firefighters took over the life-saving efforts. He was then airlifted to Phoenix Children’s Hospital for further care.
While Trigg was not initially named, speculation began to circulate online that the 3-year-old might be Kiser’s son after her followers noticed her absence from social media for several days.
“Emily [sic], I hope you are okay. I feel sick!! I’m sick.”
