Tim McGraw stepped out in the European sunshine with wife Faith Hill while recovering from recent surgery.
McGraw, 58, shared an Instagram snap of himself seated next to Hill, 57, on Tuesday, July 1, which captured a cane held within his two hands. “Hangin with my baby in Copenhagen to see @audreymcgraw on tour with the fabulous @brandicarlile,” the country music star captioned the post. (Tim shares three daughters with Hill: Gracie, 28, Maggie, 26, and Audrey, 23.)
The photo was shared after Tim revealed during a radio interview for 95.5 The Bull’s Bobby Bones Show on May 24 that he undertook “three back surgeries” and a double knee replacement “in the last six to eight months.”
Hill, who has been married to Tim since October 1996, was seen resting a hand on her husband’s shoulder as she leaned her head on him in the Instagram photo. The pair appeared to be enjoying their international escape, seated at an al fresco dining table within the Denmark city as a half-drunk cocktail was seen in front of Hill.

News of Tim’s surgeries first surfaced in January when he backed out of starring and executive producing a planned Netflix series focused on bull riding. According to Deadline, who reported on Tim’s withdrawal at the time, he suffered a tour-related injury that resulted in orthopedic surgery undertaken in August 2024.
The surgery led to the subsequent back surgeries that Tim confirmed during his May radio interview.
Tim’s ongoing health issues also led to the cancellation of his 2024 concert dates, and more recently, the musician cancelled a scheduled performance at the Professional Bull Riders’ Last Cowboy Standing event in Fort Collins, Colorado in July. A statement released via Instagram by the event’s organisers last month confirmed that Cross Canadian Ragweed “will step in for Tim McGraw as he recovers from back surgery.”

Amid Tim’s ongoing recovery, he has provided public support for his family’s achievements in addition to promoting his own professional ventures.
On June 22, the proud father took to Instagram to share photos from daughter Audrey performing at London’s Royal Albert Hall. “Our little @audreymcgraw on stage at Royal Albert Hall for opening night of @brandicarlile tour!! Pure magic watching our baby girl up there!” he captioned the carousel.
About one week later, Tim once again took to social media to share recent work alongside Barbra Streisand in her Secret Of Life: Partners Volume Two project, which included a duet with Streisand, 83.
“Today is the day! Beyond honored to be asked to be a part of this special project with so many amazing artists. Thank you to the incomparable @barbrastreisand for asking me to sing with her. Our duet “I Love Us” is out now,” Tim captioned promotional material from the release.
