Sharing a summary of our adventures in Sevilla!
Hi there, friends! How’s it going? I hope your day is going wonderfully so far. We’re catching up with some pals before I dive into a few podcast interviews, and we’re excited for a relaxed evening at home.
For today’s entry, I wanted to provide a summary of some of our experiences in Sevilla.
(Dress is here)
While it’s impossible to cover everything – we spent four weeks there! – I love sharing tips for my friends who might be visiting this beautiful place, and I also find these posts to be a lovely way to preserve memories. Honestly, I’m terrible at printing photos and have thousands stored on my phone and computer. At least I have this blog to keep some of our memories alive that I can revisit. 😉
Sevilla Adventures
During our time in Sevilla, we enjoyed a blend of all our favorite activities: wandering around, exploring, dining, shopping, and spending time with friends. It was a fantastic chance to reconnect with our dear friends who reside there (and P’s best friend in the universe), as well as to relish a place that feels more familiar to us since we visited last summer for a couple of weeks. The best part was that we didn’t feel rushed to hit all the tourist spots. We had already seen the main attractions, had ample time, and it allowed us to take things slow, which was a welcome change after such a hectic start to the year.
Restaurant recommendations in Sevilla
I ended up doing quite a bit of cooking during this trip, and I absolutely loved it. It was such a joy to visit the market each day and pick out whatever looked appealing, and since it was mostly just me and the girls, the meals were quick and easy. (When the Pilot is around, I feel the need to prepare more elaborate meals, but when it’s just me and the girls, we often throw together whatever we have.)
We also enjoyed pollo asado from down the street, and it was so convenient to grab a fresh $11 rotisserie chicken that could feed all of us!
We hosted *family dinners* with our friends, where we’d each prepare a couple of dishes and enjoy dinner together.
