While Blackpink has been on a break, each member has blossomed into a solo star. Rosé, in particular, recently hit it big with her solo track “APT.,” which she created with Bruno Mars. During their ongoing Deadline tour, Blackpink has been dedicating part of their performances to showcase their members’ solo works. This weekend at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, the group had a multi-night event, and at one of the concerts, Mars made a surprise appearance to perform “APT” with Rosé.

The atmosphere was absolutely electric, as captured in these performance videos. (By the way, these shows marked Blackpink’s first return to North America in almost three years.)

Rosé previously shared the inspiration behind the song, stating, “‘APT.’ is actually my favorite Korean drinking game that I play with my friends back home. It’s super simple, brings a smile to your face, and is a great icebreaker at any party. One night in the studio, I taught my team how to play the game. They were all intrigued, especially when I started the chant, so we decided to have some fun with it and I suggested we should turn it into a song… and after Bruno hopped on the track, the rest is history!”
