Oasis Are Releasing New Versions Of ‘Wonderwall’ And More On A ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’ Reissue

All attention is currently focused on Oasis as the band gears up to kick off their highly anticipated reunion tour this week, starting on July 4 in Cardiff, Wales. However, before the tour begins, they have some pre-tour updates: Today (July 2), they announced a deluxe 30th-anniversary edition of their legendary album (What’s The Story) Morning Glory?.

Significantly, the reissue features new unplugged renditions of five tracks: “Cast No Shadow,” “Morning Glory,” “Wonderwall,” “Acquiesce,” and “Champagne Supernova.” According to a press release, these new versions were “produced and mixed by Noel Gallagher and Callum Marinho from the original master recordings.” The unplugged rendition of “Acquiesce” is available for listening now.

In the meantime, Liam Gallagher has recently assured fans of a no-frills stage presence during Oasis’ reunion performances, stating, “We’re just gonna walk on and get on with it we’re not at the f*cking circus we’re not getting fired out of a cannon ball and we’re not SHOWOFFS.”
