Hugh Grant Seemingly Falls Asleep at Wimbledon

Hugh Grant appeared to doze off while watching a match at Wimbledon.

On Wednesday, July 9, the 64-year-old actor was spotted slumped in his seat next to his wife, Anna Elisabet Eberstein, at London’s Centre Court during a men’s singles match featuring Novak Djokovic and Flavio Cobolli. The sleepy, silver-haired star wore black sunglasses along with a dark jacket and a white shirt. The photo quickly spread across the internet, turning into an instant meme.

Film Updates, an account on X, announced on Wednesday, “Hugh Grant fell asleep at Wimbledon,” prompting a fan to respond, “He still looks hot and stylish even when he’s asleep.”

Another user on X humorously remarked, “Me in history class.”

Meanwhile, the Queen remained vigilant and engaged as Djokovic, 38, triumphed over Cobolli, 23. Camilla, 77, donned an animal-print dress and pearl earrings while enjoying the prestigious event alongside her sister, Annabel Elliot.
